Some of the clients experienced the slowness problem when accessing to the Appeon web application in (Series Content Services) Load balance environment

All the clients are in the same network environment (Network segment, proxy server, gateway), but some of the clients can access to the Appeon web application quickly while some of them experienced the slowness problems. On the basis of the feedback from the customer, the clients which access to the Appeon web application slowly are using Window vista or higher OS version like Win7/8.


Cause analysis: 

The issue was caused by incompatibility between the Load balancer (CSS) Window Scaling and Windows client ’TCP auto-tuning settings.



There are 2 ways to correct the problem.

(1) Reconfigure the CSS to disable TCP Window Scaling.

(2) Change the Win 7 machines....... Run the command 'netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled'.
